Grow on Social Media Through Education

What type of content are you posting? Assuming you make content (if you aren't, you should re-evaluate that), do you make it for yourself or your audience? That is the million-dollar question. Too often, agents are drawn to post what they THINK will do well without looking into the details. You see, there is a method to content creation, and it starts with recognizing and delivering what your audience wants.

On this week's episode of the Massive Agent Podcast, host Dustin Brohm invites Mortgage Consultant and content expert Arjun Dhingra, on the show to lay out the blueprint for gaining business traction through social media content. Arjun notes you must be conscious not only of what you want but what the end user wants and needs. Essentially, “do not sell the customer a hamburger if they are asking for a burrito.” An easy method Arjun recommends clarifying the news for those who may not understand it, that way, you also never run out of ideas.

Too often, individuals look for instant gratification when they post. To make it in the social media world, it takes trial end error. When adjusting your content, don't only focus on what you are doing now but what you were doing wrong before and how to correct it. Remember, social media is not an “add-on” to door-knocking and cold calling. It's there to enhance and simplify business development. It's a must-have that you need to implement to make things better.
