There are so many misconceptions among real estate agents about VA loans. Realtors, for the most part, lack the facts on how VA loans work, and far too often look down on buyers using VA loans because of these misconceptions. 

We as an industry can do better by our VA clients by understanding the VA process! 

Our military veterans are being mistreated on the mortgage side, and then again when they start making offers to purchase homes because of the lack of understanding on our parts as Realtors. 

The purpose of this episode is twofold: 1) EDUCATE Realtors about the ways that our veterans are being mistreated, overcharged, and discriminated against in the real estate and mortgage industry and 2) teach you how you can actually sell a bunch more homes each year by focusing more on serving our veterans. 

This week, Chris Griffith, prominent mortgage broker and founder of Vetted VA, joins us to shine some light on why real estate agents have it all wrong about VA loans, and how veterans are actually being screwed by supposed “veteran-friendly” lenders. We also discuss how choosing the RIGHT people is key, well it is not different when we are talking about our veterans.
