This Realtor gets 95% of her Business from Referrals…

What percentage of your business comes from referrals? Are your referrals mostly agent to agent, or are they client to agent? Do they come from social media, or word of mouth? When establishing your credibility in the industry, you should ask yourself these questions. Getting referrals from past clients sounds tough on paper, but it's easier than you think (if you put the extra mile in). If you're not putting the extra mile in, take some notes.

On this week's episode of the Massive Agent Podcast, Realtor and founder of the RVA home team, Shannon Milligan, joins host Dustin Brohm to explain how 95% of the business she receives is from referrals. Shannon has prioritized using Facebook over other social media platforms to make it more interesting. Combining that with highly authentic posts, her sphere is genuinely interested in what she has to say. While it didn't come overnight, she stuck to her roots, thus creating a sense of comfort for her audience.

Listen to the conversation as Shannon details the small but meaningful touches she makes with her clients. From writing handwritten letters after inspections, to ordering pizza on moving day, Shannon has it down to a science, and her referral percentages show. Lastly, Shannon notes that no transaction is ever completely smooth, even for her! However, having that wiggle room from prior thoughtfulness often suffices for slight discrepancies. Stop fabricating things, and be an authentic and thoughtful agent.
