The Story of How Writing One Article Changed My Life – Ep 80

It all started with writing this one article and getting it published in Inman News, a major real estate industry media outlet. But even before that, I was inspired to write the article after a random video I saw on Facebook by some dude named Gary Vee, who I had not heard of at the time. 

 

When we look back at our life and career, it’s amazing to see how one seemingly insignificant encounter led to a completely different path. But when you’re living it, making one decision after another, we don’t always see how significant one choice could be until later on when we reflect. One thin thread connects everything to create who we are today, and and how we got here. But remove one of those small events or decisions, and your life would be completely different. 

 

This week, I’m going way back to when I stepped outside my own real estate career, selling homes in Salt Lake City, and first started connecting and helping other real estate agents from around the world. Four years later, my life and career are completely different in so many ways, and I've been able to help thousands of other real estate agents. The impact is incredible. 

 

This is a story of encouragement and perspective for you, the Realtor or Loan Officer who is just now starting the process of building your local brand and your online presence. It’s a story that will help you focus on the first few steps to take, and give you some clarity about what may lay ahead for you IF you do the work. Doing the right things, for long enough.
