Don't turn your followers away by posting crap they don't want
So you made a commitment to your seller to market their home on social media, now what?
On this episode of the Massive Agent Podcast, host Dustin Brohm gives us some advice about posting our listings the right way. Many times our social media marketing efforts fall flat because we aren’t posting about the right things. If the point of marketing is to grab attention, then the same should apply when we are posting about our listings. Is there anything about the house or the area that would make you stop scrolling and take a look?
Dustin suggests that we stop thinking of ourselves as real estate agents, but as marketers who happen to sell real estate. If we pay close attention to the details, we can find some specific point of interest about the property that would get people interested in taking a closer look.
He also reminds us to be careful where we send people online once we have their attention. We should rethink including links that send buyers to the MLS or other sites. Remember the goal is to capture them and to keep them within our sphere, so they become loyal fans of our brand and clients for years to come.
